About LifeBridge
Part of a larger community of physician resources coordinated by the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Medical Society and Medical Foundation of Chattanooga.
LifeBridge was created by the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Medical Society and the Medical Foundation of Chattanooga to provide a confidential and comprehensive resource for physicians and to encourage them to reach out before they are in a crisis. LifeBridge supports the mind-body well-being of physicians who face high levels of burnout. LifeBridge provides free counseling services to physicians along with other programming and services.
About CHCMS
The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Medical Society is a professional membership organization for area physicians. We are an advocate for the success of physicians and for the continual improvement of community health.
The Medical Society works with like-minded organizations to elevate the status of the medical profession locally, in Tennessee, and in the nation. The Medical Society protects and promotes the patient-physician relationship, and seeks to increase access to quality medical care for all persons. We provide opportunities for physicians and their families to connect, network, and give back to the community.
Working in partnership with the Medical Foundation of Chattanooga, CHCMS seeks to improve the quality of life for local physicians and the community as a whole. We manage programs such as Project Access, Future Docs, and MPS.

Support LifeBridge
Your support matters! Consider making a donation to the Medical Foundation of Chattanooga to help us continue the mission: supporting the well-being of local physicians through LifeBridge, providing health care for the working poor through Project Access, improving community health planning and promoting educational opportunities to promote future healthcare workforce development.
Project Access
Since 2004, more than 18,975 people have received $175 million in donated health care services through Project Access, a physician-led initiative.
Physicians donate their time and talents while facilities donate space to treat patients. Doctors, health practices, and community members come together each year to raise funds and awareness for PA through Golf for Good and Denim & Diamonds gala.
Future Docs
The annual Youth Leadership Forum and Future Docs programs encourage promising students to pursue careers in medicine.
This is important as we face a future shortage of physicians. With hopes of growing the program, we received an unprecedented 100+ nominations. With current funding and support, we were able to accept 30 students into the program
Medical Personnel Services
MPS is a specialized personnel agency focused on serving the physicians of our community by providing the most qualified candidates for their practices, making their practices run more smoothly and allowing them to take better care of their patients.
